Focus In

We love to travel.

We took our first big trip together when we were 18 to Australia. That was such an amazing experience for us. Since then we’ve been to Mexico and traveled a bit in the states. Of course time restraints prevent us from taking many large trips like the one to Australia but we do like to get away when we can. One of our favorite placecs to go is Tahoe, of course. I can easily see owning a bit of property out there. We hope to make it out there again this summer like we did last summer for our anniversary. We actually ended up running into a few Scotts Valley locals there as well during our stay!

Our ultimate dream is to get back on the road again and see the world. To go to places like Thailand, Japan, South America. We’d like to not only explore those new places but also photograph the people and events happening there. Such as maybe the rebuilding of cities in Japan and human trafficking in Thailand.

In the meantime though there is plenty to see and do here locally, such as Tahoe, Mendocino, and so on.

We did do a lot this last June! From graduations, baby showers, even a wedding of a long time friend, to saying farewell to some of our friends at Seagate. We’ve even been celebrating the beautiful weather we’ve been having by frequenting our local beaches and rivers, (I can’t say enough how lucky we are to live here!). It doesn’t stop there though there’s plenty more fun to be had such as 4th of July fireworks at Skypark, Music at Skypark, and the Hop N Barley Festival, even our Summer children’s portrait sessions will be so much fun! We are also looking forward to upcoming family visits by Susan’s sister and nieces and more!
